Privacy Policy
KitManager is a football equipment and match coordination platform. This Privacy Policy explains how information, including data accessed through Google APIs, is handled when the service is used.
1. Information used by KitManager
KitManager processes operational football information required for equipment and match coordination. Depending on the authorized competition workspace, this may include match details, clubs, kit selections, goalkeeper kits, referee kits, bib information, operational notes, publication status, image references and related configuration data.
2. Google Sheets access
KitManager uses authorized Google Sheets as operational data sources. The application may read, create, update or delete spreadsheet values only where necessary to provide its football equipment and match coordination functions.
This access is used, for example, to read published match information, retrieve registered kit selections, update authorized operational fields and maintain the information needed by the KitManager interface.
3. Google Drive access
KitManager uses the limited drive.file permission. This allows the application to
access only Google Drive files and folders that are created by, opened with, or otherwise used with
KitManager. The application does not request general access to all files in a user's Google Drive.
Drive access is used to create and manage KitManager image storage, save football kit images, update images already managed by the application, and make specific kit image files available for display where required by the platform.
4. External requests
KitManager uses external requests where required for core platform functionality, including retrieving image content referenced by authorized Google Sheets so that kit images can be processed and stored for display. This permission is not used for advertising, tracking or unrelated data collection.
5. How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to provide or improve the visible, user-facing functionality of KitManager. It is not used for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, lending decisions, data brokerage or unrelated profiling.
KitManager does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve or train generalized, non-personalized, or personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
6. Data storage and retention
Operational spreadsheet data remains in the authorized Google Sheets used by KitManager. Kit images managed by the application may be stored in Google Drive folders and files used by KitManager. The system may also store technical identifiers needed for operation, such as Drive file IDs, folder IDs and public image URLs associated with those files.
Data is retained for as long as it is needed for the relevant competition workflow or remains in the connected Google services. Authorized account owners can delete or modify data in those services subject to their normal Google permissions and the operational requirements of the competition.
7. Data sharing and public display
Google user data is not sold to third parties and is not transferred to data brokers, advertising networks or information resellers.
Certain operational football information and specific kit images may be displayed to authorized or public users when public display is an intended function of KitManager. Only information intended for the football competition workflow is exposed through the public interface.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to limit access and protect the service. Access to Google data is governed by Google OAuth permissions and the scopes authorized by the user. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Revoking Google access
A user can revoke KitManager's access to their Google Account at any time through the security and third-party access settings of their Google Account. Revoking access may prevent functionality that depends on the connected Google services from working.
10. Google API Services User Data Policy
KitManager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
11. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when KitManager's functionality, Google API access or data practices change. The current version will remain publicly available at this URL and the “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
12. Contact
For questions about privacy, Google account access or the handling of Google user data, please use the support contact identified on the Google OAuth consent screen for KitManager.
